Plot:
The cast of the horror movie “The Nun II” is almost entirely made up of white people who represent the working and middle classes. This mediocre sequel has a convoluted, stereotyped plot that accomplishes nothing clever or exciting. The dark and ominous sequences in “The Nun II” are carefully constructed. There isn’t much suspense in the narrative. Some of the “The Nun II” directors that worked on “The Nun” are also working on the sequel. The movie is full of scenes that are only tossed in to demonstrate more scary set-ups without much payoff. The Nun 2 has startling moments of effectiveness and dreadfully rote moments.
