The new feature resumes the action where it left the first part and continues to narrate the irreverent and action-packed space epics of Peter Quill – alias Star-Lord – and his band of eccentric characters. Now, because of the popularity and fame they have gained by saving Xandar, they all patrol and protect the universe by working as mercenaries. The team must fight to keep their new family together as they travel through the confines of the cosmos trying to unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true lineage. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is written and directed by James Gunn , who was already in front of the first tape.
