Visually, the result is breathtaking , the staging often referring to the epic filmmaker Dante bastons manga “Evangelion” , reference to which del Toro pays its widely tribe.
Far from the noise and emptiness of Michael Bay, the film connects the bravura also swirling that read, armed with a prodigious knowledge of colors and lights, which climaxed during the attack on Hong Kong, filmed at night in the glow of neon lights of the city.
A rapid sequence that outperforms everything we have seen in a blockbuster in the last 5 years.
