Plot: For Serena the rugged wilderness is new, but it shows off her husband soon equal. She goes on snake hunting and even saves a man’s life in the wild, unusual for a woman this time. George and Serena reign as king and queen of the country and eliminate everything turns them in their ascent in the way.
But when Serena learns that she will never bring a child into the world, the ideal world begins to fall apart. It sets a murderer on the mother of George’s illegitimate son, whose existence they can no longer stand. This is mainly due to the drama and the progression of the story, which do not want to work that well in the beginning. As it is, for example, in the first ten minutes before a one-year time jump or some inconsistent and forced moments. When George Pempertons sister, for instance, rants that Lawrences ‘drawn from life Serena would be so aloof.
