Arrives just before the start of the 20th century, the young Dr. Edward Newgate on Christmas Eve at the isolated Stone Hearst Asylum. He hopes to complete its prestigious study with practical experience here and is taken under the wing of the unorthodox Dr. Silas Lamb. Patients get into this device very much freedom and quickly falls Edward his eye on the beautiful patient Eliza Graves. She advises him to take to their feet as quickly as possible. He does call her off as crazy talk until a grisly discovery shines a different light on the matter in the basement.

From the first moment the tempo into ‘Stone Hearst Asylum’, disadvantage is that most of the revelations take place soon. The voltage far this sometimes search. The film wants to come across as a classic British horror film but this is simply not frightening enough. The tone often skips from costume drama to comic to macabre and seems to never know what it wants itself. The decor is pleasant to be called and do you often delusions in times gone by.
