Plot: Probably the rock mixed with blues virtuoso and distortions of fact was not made for everyone’s ears, but he has become an icon of rock on him even though he had eyes heavy with audiences and critics: whatever one may say or think of Jimi Hendrix nobody, and I mean nobody can doubt the charisma and magnetism that emanated during her performances on stage. I immediately start by saying that in my opinion, what is lacking in this mainly Jimi – All is by my side is just that, the protagonist can not transmitting anything, has given us a portrait of a boy rather insecure psychopath and his brain burned by hippie utopia in the world: it was then that the real Jimi Hendrix ?
Then there’s Kathy XXX, which represents the classic love story of every damn legendary rockstar, though version of Ridley seemed to me a bit ‘too romanticized. The journey recounted in Jimi: All by my side will eventually take us to the final consecration of Hendrix , one of the famous Festival of Monterey , that of the guitar on fire passed into history. Had it been a movie about the Beatles or any of their components would have commented on the vision of a more informed since I can brag to know the subject well, for Hendrix is a different matter, it is certainly an icon, but I can not go beyond the knowledge of the musical side, I have not sufficient knowledge about the person as well as I do not have the character, and yet, in spite of my ignorance, I can not judge this film positively, for a variety of reasons, which I’ll summarize in brief.
