The script of the film tries to touch many topics to show that it is an intelligent blockbuster. It focuses on the characters of Cesar and Malcolm as fathers who both want peace and to raise their children in a peaceful, tolerant and sustainable environment. At the same time trying to show us that peace is impossible when there are hotheads on both sides as Dreyfuss and Kobe who believe that the only way to solve problems is the conflict and war.
